ABOUT THE ARTIST

Meet the face behind Qwilln's Art. Q aims to spark conversations with her art. She has something to say. Each piece she creates carries meaning and highlights different facets of who she is and where she fits in the world at large. Q’s education in art is ongoing, and proceeds from her work go toward tuition. Her roots run deep in Appalachia, and in her work, she wants others to catch a glimpse of the place she calls home. In addition to art, Q’s other passion is learning and sharing all she can about life in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee, and as a result, relishes any opportunity to advocate for the inhabitants of Appalachia.
